bathroom update
I don’t have a ton to work with when it comes to my primary bathroom. It’s not very big and it’s very “builder grade”. I lived with it that way for a couple of years until I decided to try out some easy updates just to make it feel a little more homey and cozy. I didn’t have a big budget so I started to plan out what I could do that was affordable. I knew my first change was going to be paint! I picked up a gallon of Sherwin Williams Alabaster and got to work. I left the ceiling painted Agreeable Gray for some contrast.

I decided to do some wallpaper and picture frame molding in the toilet room. This wallpaper was leftover from my downstairs hallway, it’s the Olive Branch wallpaper by Threshold at Target.

While I was working on the molding, I wasn’t quite sure what I was going to do with the floor yet. I had originally had it painted with a stencil, but I painted it a darker color and didn’t love it. I came across some floor tiles that I loved immediately!

These are the Chris loves Julia Bonneville floor tiles in Beige! I picked mine up off Amazon.

The installation was fairly easy, but the cuts around the corners really did me in lol.

It really started coming together and I was super excited!

I love adding little details like new hardware or doorknobs to make it have a little more character.

I pulled together mostly decor that I already owned, but my favorite part was the curtain I hung up!

It made the room seem taller and it was just beautiful all around! It’s just a normal blackout curtain from Target that I had stored away and I hung it on a black curtain rod.

The toilet room was such a transformation! I love the colors and how the floor tied everything together.

This was a super budget friendly update while we save for future upgrades. The floor tiles are holding up so well and would definitely recommend them!
